Patricia Loredana, known as Wadara, was born in 1994 in Caracas, Venezuela. Surrounded by youth, street art, and skateboarding, Loredana began forging deep connections with the fine arts and painting through watercolor and various subtle pigments. She embarked on a journey of self-exploration and expression through visual arts, finding immense satisfaction and fulfillment in each piece.
The name "Wadara" translates to "Guacamaya" in the indigenous dialect of the Pemon tribe in the Venezuelan Amazon. This bird symbolizes her creative and multidisciplinary potential, serving as the elevated consciousness of Loredana—a student of life who discovers herself through experiences and introspections of the natural world. More than mere pictorial works, her art fills and transforms spaces with its energy. Through her art, she creates a safe space where people can liberate, discover, and explore themselves through contemplation and creativity.
Inspired by the transformative power of art in her own life, Wadara began honing her talent and exploring various techniques worldwide through workshops, courses, and seminars in painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, jewelry design, and graphic arts, becoming a multidisciplinary artist.
Within her works, one witnesses an introspective paradise that combines contemplation of the environment with the intuitive essence of Wadara. Influences from Caribbean, Asian, and Mediterranean landscapes converge in her visionary art, depicting her unique perspective of the tropical, colorful, wild, and ever-changing nature.
Currently residing in Valencia, Spain, Wadara is actively engaged in participatory and community art projects, art and music performances, and the study of mixed techniques, including digital illustration and interior design. She continues to delve deeper into visionary art, channeling divine consciousness from the ethereal to the natural. For Wadara, art is a tool that aids in connecting with self-knowledge and acceptance, using happiness as a method of transformation.
